• The candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Workday Payroll and strong configuration/testing skills.
• Experience leading a Payroll-focused HRIS/Payroll team and collaborating with HRIS and Payroll stakeholders.
• Canadian payroll background is advantageous and helpful for cross-border work.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Workday Payroll roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Lead requirement gathering with stakeholders and define priorities across Workday Payroll.
• Manage day-to-day HRIS Payroll team, delegating work and ensuring processes stay up to date.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and communications.
• Coordinate Workday releases, configuration changes, and testing with IT.
• Oversee SIT/UAT, data files, and quality checks for payroll.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and system functionality.
• Lead change management across the Payroll function and manage budget and headcount.
