Job summary

Snap Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Workday Configuration Analyst to join the People Team. Configure and support Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning) and build new functionality as needed.

You will thoroughly test configurations, lead cross-functional projects, troubleshoot issues, and create advanced HR reports. Bachelor’s in IT and 3+ years’ Workday experience required; Payroll certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or closely related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning) and add new functionality as necessary.
• Build out and optimize the Workday ecosystem.
• Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate UAT across teams.
• Lead projects with ambiguity from design to implementation with minimal leadership direction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues.
• Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields.
• Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity.
• Train and mentor junior configuration specialists.
• Create functional and technical systems documentation.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or closely related, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field

3+ years of Workday configuration experience with Workday modules

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Ability to lead cross-functional projects
