Job Description
We are seeking a Workday Developer / Workday Configuration Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, and Reporting, and a proven ability to configure complex business processes, deliver reliable reporting, and support end users through testing, training, and change management. This role is onsite and targets a July start. A Glider assessment will be required.
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot complex Workday business processes with a focus on Payroll, Time, and Absence.
- Perform tenant administration, data loads, integrations, and reporting.
- Review procedures and workflows to optimize system feature utilization and drive efficiency.
- Work within sandbox and controlled environments and enforce documented system standards.
- Provide pre- and post-launch support, change management, issue resolution, testing, and end-user training.
- Execute mass data loads via EIBs and validate integration inputs and outputs for transactional changes.
- Create reports and perform audits to assess configuration effectiveness.
- Document current and future-state configuration specifications.
- Maintain change management documentation to meet internal and external audit and compliance practices.
- Apply Workday Implementation Methodology across projects and releases.
- Serve as domain support for feature releases and issue resolution, partnering with the Workday Architect on scope, prioritization, planning, and implementation.
- Maintain functional knowledge across HR domains and promote collaboration to deliver quality support services.
- Engage with Workday Community, user groups, and conferences to foster relationships and stay current.
- Partner with business stakeholders to enhance their understanding and adoption of Workday.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in configuring Workday business processes, especially Payroll, Time, and Absence.
- Experience with tenant configuration, EIB mass data loads, integrations, and custom reporting.
- Knowledge of Workday business process, core setup, and security framework.
- Understanding of Workday data model, system architecture, interfaces, and data loading procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to present recommendations to varied audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based multi-tenant systems and collaborative solution delivery.
- 3+ years of Workday HCM experience.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Workday Pro or Workday certifications.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Integrations.
- Depth in at least three modules among Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, and Benefits.
