Job summary

Accurate Background is seeking a Workday HRIS Specialist to optimize Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and reporting. You will partner with HR, Payroll, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across modules, with backup support for Benefits and Compensation.

The role requires 5+ years of HRIS experience and at least 3 years of Workday configuration, along with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with at least 3 years of Workday configuration.
• Experience with Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
• Experience building Workday reports and dashboards.
• Understanding of Workday architecture and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules including business processes, eligibility rules, calculations, and accruals.
• Support design, testing, deployment, and enhancement of Workday functionality.
• Troubleshoot system issues and partner with stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Serve as SME for Payroll and Time Tracking configuration and system support.
• Ensure payroll compliance through accurate system configuration and audits.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports.
• Create dashboards and analytics to support data‑driven decision making.
• Maintain data integrity through audits, validations, and governance practices.
• Manage EIB uploads and maintain system data tables.
• Support HRIS projects, including testing and Workday releases.
• Provide backup support for Benefits and Compensation modules.
