Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Women’s Health Float Pool to care for NICU, Pediatrics, post-partum L&D and some Med/Surg. This day shift role runs 0700–1930 three days a week with weekend and holiday rotation.

Join a team focused on safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement. You will document in EHR, participate in councils, and pursue professional development while delivering patient-centered care within the age-specific guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where nursing services are provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care per department standards.
