Job summary

Advocate Health, Inc. Wisconsin Float Pool seeks a Women's Health RN to float across multiple facilities and units, delivering safe, patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or NICU as needed.

This role requires RN licensure, BLS, and the ability to adapt quickly to new settings; weekend and holiday coverage are part of the schedule, with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Must support Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU (2 years' experience strongly preferred).
• Weekend requirement (Friday 1900 - Monday 0700): 4 Weekend Shifts per 6 week schedule.
• Holiday requirement: 2 Holidays per year.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‑based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams.
• Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience.
• Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute-care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings.
• Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute-care facilities within the designated zone.
