Job summary

Advocate Health WI Float Pool is a multi-site resource team supporting Women’s Health departments across Wisconsin. The RN role requires 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU, with BLS certification, and provides self-scheduling across multiple sites including Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Bay Care, and Bay Area.

The schedule includes nights (12-hour shifts 1900-0730) and a 0.9 FTE with 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, plus 2 holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• Experience: support 2 services – Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU (2 years strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, evidence-based nursing care per standards and policies.
• Float to multiple care environments within a designated zone and adapt quickly.
• Lead efforts to maintain a safe patient environment and high-quality care.
• Coordinate care for diverse patient populations across acute-care facilities.
