Job summary

Advocate Health’s Wisconsin Float Pool seeks a Part-time RN to support Women’s Health across multiple sites. Self-scheduling, day-to-day floating or 6-week rotations, and 0.0 FTE. Must support 2 specialties and hold a valid Wisconsin RN license.

Benefits include competitive pay ($50/hour), with weekend and holiday requirements. Experience in postpartum, L&D, or NICU preferred. Travel is within 4 Wisconsin sites.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Must be able to support 2 of 3 specialties: Post Partum, Labor & Delivery, NICU.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Additional Certifications: LDRP RN, ACLS, NRP, EFM, Telemetry Rhythm Analysis/Interpretation, POC Glucose; NICU RN: PALS, NRP, POC Glucose.
• Experience: 1–2 years WH RN experience in specialty.
• Weekend Requirement: 1 Weekend Shift per schedule period.
• Holiday Requirement: 1 Holiday per year.
• Schedule: Self-scheduled; 12+ hours per period with 4–, 8–, or 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, evidence-based nursing care.
• Float to multiple care environments within a designated zone.
• Lead efforts for safe patient environment and optimal experience.
• Coordinate care across diverse patient populations in acute-care and outpatient settings.
• Maintain competency to practice in all designated facilities.
