Job summary

Advocate Health WI Float Pool is a multi-site resource team supporting Women’s Health care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need.

Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. Self-scheduled shifts; 12-hour blocks; weekend/holiday rotations; 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts, depending on site needs.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to support 2 of 3 specialties: Post Partum, Labor & Delivery, NICU.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/EFM/PALS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Women’s Health RN experience required.
• Weekend and holiday rotations apply.
• Self-scheduled shifts; 12-hour core; 6‑week site rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units.
• Float to designated zones and adapt to team needs.
• Coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain competency to practice in all acute-care facilities within zone.
• Support 12-hour shifts with weekend/holiday coverage.
