Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse to join our Withdrawal Management team. This Saturdays-only, on-site role provides nursing care and withdrawal management support for adults with substance use disorders in a multidisciplinary treatment setting.

The position requires an active MN RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with experience using CIWA-Ar and COWS. Shifts run 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during onboarding.
• Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Experience conducting nursing assessments, health screenings, medication reconciliation, and clinical triage.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, withdrawal management, and recovery-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments, triage, and admission evaluations.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms and treatment progress.
• Coordinate care with hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
• Provide health education related to withdrawal management, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR/EMR).
