Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership across data center wireless systems nationwide. You will guide design reviews, coordinate with BIM teams, and mentor engineers while maintaining quality and compliance on multiple projects.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of RF design experience, familiarity with iBwave/EDX/Atoll, and strong knowledge of NFPA and FCC standards. This hybrid role offers offices and remote work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+/- years' experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems, including LMR, DAS, Wi‑Fi, and Private LTE/5G.
• Experience reviewing iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner; strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA, IFC, FCC rules, and common wireless standards.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving Wireless designs and providing technical leadership.
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages and with carriers.
• Develop engineering standards, support commissioning, and mentor engineers.
• Support proposal responses, RFPs/RFIs, and risk mitigation with stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging wireless technologies and ensure design quality across projects.
