Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership across DAS, LMR, Wi‑Fi, Private LTE/5G, and related systems. You will review designs, mentor engineers, and coordinate with BIM teams and clients on multi-project efforts.

The role supports hybrid work across the United States, with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge data center and telecom projects while maintaining design quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years' experience designing wireless telecom systems (LMR, DAS, Wi-Fi, Private LTE/5G).
• Experience reviewing RF modeling tools and leading technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Review wireless designs in iBwave/EDX and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages.
• Lead site visits, testing, and issue resolution.
• Develop and enforce wireless design standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with stakeholders on proposals.
