Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership across data center and DAS/LMR/5G projects. You will drive design reviews, coordinate with BIM teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of wireless design experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to work with Fortune 50 clients. The role supports hybrid work across the U.S., with base salary discussed during hiring.

Competenze

• Technical or associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+/- years' experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems.
• Experience reviewing iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner or a combination of advanced RF modeling programs.
• Experience serving as a technical lead or SME.
• Experience working with clients to help identify wireless communications needs.
• Experience troubleshooting wireless systems from field teams.
• Knowledge of Noise Floor, SNIR, Return Loss, VSWR.
• Familiarity with NFPA 72/1221/1225 and FCC parts 20/90.

Mansioni

• Reviewing and approving Wireless systems designs in iBwave and EDX.
• Providing technical leadership and oversight for wireless telecommunications designs.
• Coordination with BIM designers to create drawing packages.
• Coordination with AHJ's, Radio System Owners, and Carriers.
• DIV 27 specification creation, review, or modification.
• Conducting site visits and punch walks.
• Reviewing technical documents and engineering deliverables.
• Supporting commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Developing and maintaining wireless design standards and best practices.
• Providing technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and project leads.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting proposal development and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Evaluating emerging wireless technologies and recommending solutions.
