Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead WIOA and TANF program staff to support employment goals.
  • Conduct QA reviews of eligibility documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate caseload distribution and bi-weekly reconciliations.
  • Provide guidance to staff and monitor performance quarterly.
  • Prepare project reports and participate in weekly staff meetings.
  • Support customer engagement with scalable processes.

Job Description:Title: WIOA & TANF Program Team LeadClassification: ExemptSalary: $60,000/yrScope of Position: The Program Team Lead will provide leadership and support to staff in WIOA and TANF related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement, while ensuring outstanding customer service to program participants.Essential FunctionsEnsure professional one-on-one working relationships with participants to assist in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employmentPartner with the Performance Team to interpret data and translate it into actionable steps for all Workforce ConnectorsConduct quality assurance reviews of WIOA eligibility documentation and collaborate with the Performance Analyst to ensure compliance with program regulations, policies, and data integrity standardsReview completed participant enrollments, assign participants to the appropriate Workforce Connector, and coordinate case distribution to support timely service delivery and caseload managementPerform bi-weekly caseload reconciliations for staff to ensure consistent and comprehensive case management and follow-upProvide guidance and support to staff to ensure positive outcomes and goals are metVerify that post-placement contacts are completed in accordance with WIOA, TANF, and contract requirements to ensure compliance and ongoing participant supportFacilitate weekly meetings with the staff to ensure that best practices are being implemented and discuss improvements/goalsWork with the leadership team on implementing processes that increase customer engagementMonitor staff performance and participate in staff reviews on a quarterly basisAssist in the preparation of project reports as neededBased on customer demand, may provide case management and follow-upOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required2-3 years of previous management/supervisory experience preferredDemonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needsA working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAble to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environmentClean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle requiredEDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
