Job summary

Connecticut Distributors Inc. is seeking a Telesales Representative to manage a dedicated account base and grow CDI brands in the trade. You will call on retailers and restaurant owners, handling orders and promoting new items while supporting CDI’s e-commerce initiatives.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with MS Office. A DABCC permit is required and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diplomacy.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call upon a dedicated account base to promote supplier brands.
• Maximize growth in current and underdeveloped accounts.
• Handle orders and promote new items to retail and restaurant accounts.
• Coordinate with Marketing on e-commerce platform initiatives.
• Present sales pitches via phone, email, and in person.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
