Job summary

DB Wine Selection in Fairfield, CT, is seeking an experienced Fine Wine Sales Representative who knows the CT market and has strong relationships with restaurants, sommeliers, wine directors, and retailers. The role focuses on building a premier portfolio with emphasis on European producers and artisanal options.

The ideal candidate will manage both on-premise and off-premise accounts, conduct tastings and staff trainings, and drive growth within the territory.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wine sales experience in Connecticut preferred.
• Existing relationships in Fairfield (restaurants, retail) highly valued.
• Understanding of CT compliance and pricing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Prospect and open new accounts in assigned territory.
• Present and sell wines to buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers.
• Execute tastings, staff training, and in-store promotions.
• Maintain CRM/activity tracking and provide regular market feedback.
• Support brand building initiatives and supplier visits.
