Job summary

Connecticut Distributors Inc. seeks a Telesales Representative to manage a dedicated account base, maximizing supplier brands and driving growth for CDI’s portfolio. The role includes liaison with retail and restaurant owners, handling orders, and promoting CDI’s e-commerce platform.

You will communicate with management on high-potential accounts and coordinate POS material delivery. A background in wine and spirits plus 1+ year sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• DABCC permit required.
• Minimum one year in sales or related experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is required.
• Strong accounting, computer, customer service and interpersonal skills preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contact accounts daily for orders and promote new items.
• Create an established and efficient customer call schedule.
• Analyze entire account base to identify needs of individual accounts.
• Execute sales and merchandising objectives and align with monthly priorities.
• Prepare and present professional sales presentations via phone, email or in person.
• Understand pricing and product programming monthly; maintain records.
• Communicate with management about high potential accounts.
• Coordinate and/or deliver all POS materials to telesales accounts.
• Partner with Marketing on development of e-commerce platform.
• Market and train customers on e-commerce platform benefits.
