Job summary

Auburn Wine & Spirits in Wichita, KS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who loves wine, spirits, and beer and delivering outstanding customer service. You will help the General Manager run day-to-day operations, lead Brand Ambassadors, support wholesale accounts, and share our story on social channels.

You will drive sales growth, build relationships with customers and local partners, coordinate tastings and events, and help tell the Celebrate Local story in the community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience, including retail supervision or management
• POS and cash handling experience
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Must be 21 or older
• No felony convictions as required by state law for liquor retailers

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on the floor, train and coach Brand Ambassadors, schedule and approve hours
• Run store operations: manage POS, pricing, reports, cash handling, inventory and displays
• Support wholesale accounts: coordinate orders and keep customers informed
• Drive marketing, events, tastings, and community engagement: create social content and promote Celebrate Local initiatives
