Job summary

Foley Family Wines & Spirits in Napa Valley is seeking a Hospitality Center Wine Educator to drive top-line sales through hospitality center experiences, telephone campaigns and events. This person must be enthusiastic, charismatic, and passionate about wine.

People skills and the ability to multi-task are a must along with working with the public and in a team environment. Previous winery tasting room experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years hospitality and/or tasting room experience is preferred.
• Ability to convey the brand story to guests and convert interest to memberships.
• Strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and conduct memorable wine experiences.
• Describe the brand story with clear communication.
• Describe wine club benefits and convert to memberships.
• Assist with daily duties including restocking, cleaning, opening and closing.
• Handle routine purchase transactions at the POS and daily sales accounting.
• Book guest and member experiences via phone or email.
• Assist with hospitality events and maintain knowledge of winery portfolio.
• Prepare for tastings and assist with tasting room operations.
