Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Wine Club Sales Assistant in Asheville to deliver world-class guest service to Vanderbilt Wine Club members. You will process memberships, handle account updates, and support member retention through personalized wine recommendations and membership upsells.

In this role, you will maintain membership data, manage inquiries via phone and email, and collaborate with Wine Club Leadership to enhance guest experiences and achieve sales goals while upholding confidentiality and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; additional training is a plus.
At least six months of guest service experience in upscale settings preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to member emails and phone calls promptly and graciously.
Process new memberships, upgrades, cancellations, and address changes; manage shipments.
Resolve guest service issues professionally and promptly.
Provide table service in the Wine Club Lounge and drive wine sales through recommendations.
Maintain accuracy in order placement and update the Wine Club database.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Winery’s portfolio to educate guests during programs.
Communicate issues promptly to Winery Leadership; protect confidentiality.
