Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to manage Windows infrastructure, build Ansible-based automation, and drive IaC initiatives across ADC environments. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and the ability to operate across services while codifying configurations and deployments.

You will support critical Windows services, troubleshoot cross-service issues, and contribute to improvements that enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; IT certs preferred (A+/Network+).
• 2+ years supporting Windows OS and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM/ECM).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Ability to codify infrastructure and automate operations across services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments.
• Migrate manual processes to code-defined automation.
• Define and monitor service health metrics and alarms.
• Ensure security compliance with Security Compliance and IAM teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
