Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Windows Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise to design, implement, and secure enterprise server infrastructures. You will automate provisioning, manage large-scale and classified environments, and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support critical national space workloads.

The role emphasizes IaC discipline, secure configurations, and continuous improvement in DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 4+ years of experience managing enterprise Windows systems in high-stakes environments
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Puppet, PowerShell DSC, Terraform, Ansible, Python, or PowerShell) for automated deployments
• Hands-on IaC experience to automate system management and configuration
• Solid understanding of Git and modern software development workflows for CI/CD
• Experience with automated provisioning tools (Terraform, Stacki, Cobbler, Kickstart)
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain secure Windows server environments using IaC across large-scale enterprise networks and isolated environments
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support mission-critical workloads for national space assets
• Create documentation and train team members to improve DevOps and system troubleshooting
• Lead and implement security hardening and compliance measures to ensure secure configurations across environments
