Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Windows Systems Engineer to support and automate Windows infrastructure across ADC environments. You will build Ansible-based automation, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive operational improvements while maintaining security compliance.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and eligibility for commensurate clearance for AWS government work. It is a hands-on position focused on reliability and automation at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Windows infrastructure experience.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy familiarity.
• Experience building automation to manage services at scale.
• Ability to operate across multiple ADC environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments.
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues and provide escalation support.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation.
• Define service health metrics and maintain proactive alarms.
• Ensure security hardening in partnership with Security Compliance.
• Create and maintain runbooks, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Participate in on-call rotations for service-impacting events.
