Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to support the sponsors' engineering branch in Chantilly, VA. The role involves installing, debugging, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting a Windows-based infrastructure including AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and WSUS, with an emphasis on automation via PowerShell.

You will leverage VMware, cloud concepts, and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform/Packer to deploy and harden systems, manage performance, and provide Tier III support

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of Windows environment experience (AD, GPO).
• 7+ years supporting sponsor's operational networks.
• Experience with SolarWinds Orion.network monitoring.
• Strong PowerShell, Ansible or Terraform/Packer automation.
• WSUS knowledge; Windows Server updates across enclaves.
• VMware vSphere / VSAN / Horizon View experience.
• Good communication and teamwork in fast-paced environment.
• Certification MCSE desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Perform maintenance and upgrade of Windows Server 2022 and newer, Windows 11 environments.
• Must be well experienced with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and IIS.
• Automate deployment and configuration with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform/Packer.
• Develop and implement domain policies and hardening procedures.
• Ensure performance, access control, and availability of Windows technologies.
• Provide Tier III analysis and triage of networked servers and workstations.
• Maintain knowledge and documentation of relevant technology.
