Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Windows Systems Engineer to manage Windows infrastructure, move operations to code, and build Ansible automation. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, and will operate across ADC environments to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will own Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy, while coordinating with Security Compliance and on-call rotations to ensure security and uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or A+ / CND / Network+ / Security+ certifications.
• 2+ years supporting Windows OS family including AD, DHCP, DNS, PowerShell, SCCM, and disaster recovery.
• Experience administering Active Directory networks and basic networking skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments: AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-service issues with Tier 1/2 teams.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined, repeatable automation.
• Define service health metrics and alarms for proactive response.
• Ensure services meet security compliance and hardening with Security Compliance team.
• Create and maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and SOPs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for service-impacting events.
