Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to own and automate Windows infrastructure across ADC environments.

You will codify configuration and deployment using Ansible, support critical services, and participate in on-call rotations while improving reliability. The role requires hands-on expertise across AD, DNS, DHCP, and ECM, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• 2+ years supporting Windows family of operating systems, with AD/DNS/DHCP experience.
• Ability to codify configurations and deployments into repeatable automation.
• Experience building monitoring/alerting for Windows services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across ADC environments: AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, ECM, and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot issues across Windows stack and escalate to Tier 1/2 as needed.
• Migrate manual operations to code-defined automation.
• Define service health metrics and implement proactive alarming.
• Ensure security compliance and hardening in partnership with Security Compliance.
