Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is seeking a Production Associate 2 responsible for windows & doors assembly, safety, and quality. You will maintain flow in the plant, follow defined rates, and work with urgency to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include tool operation, joining teams in engagement activities, and adhering to strict safety practices. Cross-training across departments is expected, with a focus on reducing waste and achieving on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and fractions/decimals.
• Able to read basic words/numbers and recognize visuals.
• Operate power tools with proper PPE and safety.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and work instructions.
• Knowledge of product defects at workstation.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support Employee Engagement activities and follow cleanup times.
• Work safely and follow policies; meet defined rate.
• Contribute to improving standard work for quality windows.
• Identify and communicate issues; assist training of coworkers.
• Support cross-training and a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
