Job summary

The Distributed Computer Systems Analyst position within the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' Desktop Operations team provides first and second-tier technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for statewide desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related infrastructure.

This role reports to the Desktop Operations Manager and supports Windows environments across the agency.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows OS and Office applications.
• Knowledge of SCCM and desktop deployment solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely and resolve incidents.
• Experience with Active Directory and data protection/encryption solutions.
• IT service desk experience with MS Office support.
• Experience with Windows 10+ and hardware/configuration repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-tier technical support for desktops and laptops.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and related infrastructure.
• Perform local and remote system administration across statewide workforce.
• Deploy software and manage Windows environment.
