Job summary

TEKsystems in Springfield, MO is seeking PC Deployment & Migration Technicians to support a large-scale laptop migration and workstation deployment program. You will deploy Windows laptops, configure devices, assist users during transitions, and ensure applications function post-deployment.

This is a contract, onsite role based in Springfield, MO. You will gain experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 11, manage asset inventory, coordinate hardware distribution, and provide white-glove support

Qualifications

• Experience migrating and deploying enterprise Windows devices.
• Strong customer-facing support and communication skills.
• Ability to travel between office locations.
• Familiarity with asset inventory and IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Windows laptops and desktops.
• Support migration events and onboarding activities.
• Validate applications and perform post-deployment checks.
• Manage asset inventory and hardware refresh activities.
• Provide white-glove user support during deployment waves.
• Document deployment steps and issues in ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with IT teams for escalations.
