Job summary

TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group is seeking technicians to support a large-scale laptop migration and workstation deployment program in Glenmont, NY. You will deploy Windows laptops, assist users during transitions, validate app functionality, and provide in-person technical support.

The role involves asset inventory management, travel between office locations, and participation in migration events with a focus on minimal business disruption and high user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and device deployments.
• Hardware refresh projects experience.
• Customer-facing support experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops and desktops.
• Perform workstation replacements and technology refresh activities.
• Image, provision, configure, and validate new devices prior to deployment.
• Migrate users to new laptops, including profile configuration and connectivity verification.
• Assist users with login issues, MFA enrollment, and password resets.
• Validate functionality of business applications after device deployment.
• Coordinate hardware distribution, shipping, asset tracking, and inventory management.
• Document deployment activities, issues, and resolutions within ServiceNow or ticketing systems.
• Provide white-glove support to end users during migration events and cutovers.
• Assist with peripheral and monitor setup.
• Support office relocation and site migrations.
