Job summary

TEKsystems seeks technicians to support a large-scale laptop migration and workstation deployment program in Glenmont, NY. You will deploy Windows laptops, assist users during transitions, validate applications, and provide in-person technical support while managing asset inventory and overseeing migration events.

Travel between office locations may be required; experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 is essential, along with device deployments and customer-facing support.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, device deployments, hardware refresh projects, and customer-facing support required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops and desktop computers.
• Migrate users to new laptops, including profile configuration and connectivity verification.
• Image, provision, configure, and validate new devices prior to deployment.
• Assist users with login issues, MFA enrollment, and password resets.
• Coordinate hardware distribution, asset tracking, and inventory management activities.
• Document deployment activities and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Provide white-glove support to end users during migration events and cutovers.
