Job summary

F2OnSite is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on end-user support and assist with deployment, configuration and ongoing support of Windows 11 workstations. The role involves migrations, Microsoft 365 apps, and ensuring a professional customer experience.

The candidate should have 2–4+ years of desktop/end-user computing support experience with demonstrated Windows 11 deployment and migration capabilities, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, image, and support Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
• Perform Windows 10-to-Windows 11 migrations with user data transfers.
• Install and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 apps, Teams, Outlook, printers, and peripherals.
• Handle PC refreshes, hardware swaps, and asset updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and authentication issues.
• Support Intune, Autopilot, AD/Entra ID, SCCM/MECM, or similar tools.
• Validate devices post-deployment and provide post-migration support.
• Document work and update incidents in the ITSM system.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 engineering as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on end‑user support and assist with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of Windows 11 workstations. The technician will support hardware and software installations, device migrations, troubleshooting, and user readiness while delivering a professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Deploy, configure, image, and support Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
• Perform Windows 10-to-Windows 11 migrations, including user data and profile transfers.
• Install and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, Teams, Outlook, printers, peripherals, and standard business applications.
• Perform PC refreshes, hardware swaps, workstation setups, and asset/inventory updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, authentication, and application issues.
• Support Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory/Entra ID, SCCM/MECM, or similar endpoint‑management tools where applicable.
• Validate devices following deployment and provide post‑migration end‑user support.
• Document work and accurately update incidents, service requests, and deployment records in the customer's ITSM system.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 engineering teams as required.
• 2–4+ years of desktop/end‑user computing support experience preferred, with demonstrated Windows 11 deployment and migration experience.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer‑service skills required.
