Job summary

Medasource is seeking a desktop deployment technician to upgrade Windows 10 workstations to Windows 11 across a health system, primarily in Mishawaka with travel to South Bend, Elkhart, and off-site clinics. The role involves imaging, driver installation, and hardware swaps.

You will use BigFix OS Deployment and PXE boot to install Windows 11, configure devices, and ensure consistency with legacy setups. Training is provided, and the assignment runs through February 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience upgrading Windows 10 to 11 on desktops.
• Able to assist end users with basic computer questions.
• Willing to swap hardware/peripherals as needed.
• Familiar with installing software and drivers in Windows.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade ~5K desktops/laptops from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Imaging and reimaging hardware with BigFix OS Deployment.
• Install drivers/software and configure replacements to match old devices.
• Physically swap replacements and monitor post-installation.
• Travel to South Bend, Elkhart and off-site clinics as required.
