Job summary

Medasource is seeking an IT Desktop Upgrade Technician to support a Windows upgrade across a large health system. You will image and reimage hundreds of devices to Windows 11, install drivers and software, and ensure each machine mirrors the original configuration.

The role requires hands-on hardware swapping, end-user assistance, and some travel to sites in South Bend and Elkhart. Training on internal imaging processes will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 10/11.
• Able to assist end users with basic computer usage.
• Comfortable swapping hardware/peripherals.
• Basics of installing software/drivers.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade ~5K desktops and laptops from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Image and reimage devices to Windows 11.
• Install drivers and software, configure replacements to match old devices.
• Physically swap devices and verify proper operation.
• Travel to Health System sites, including South Bend and Elkhart, for deployment work.
