Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking Desktop Technicians to support a Windows 11 upgrade and hardware refresh across healthcare locations in the Gadsden, AL area. This hands-on deployment role involves preparing devices, performing upgrades, and ensuring end users are ready to go.

The project spans several months with possible extensions. You'll image and configure laptops/desktops, perform Windows 11 upgrades, deploy end-user hardware, and verify applications with SCCM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Desktop Support, Field Services, or IT Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Experience with SCCM or similar imaging and deployment tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot endpoint hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Image and configure new laptops and desktops
• Perform Windows 11 upgrades and validate successful installations
• Deploy and replace end-user hardware
• Install and verify applications using SCCM and approved deployment tools
• Configure devices for user access, connectivity, and required software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Track completed work and maintain accurate deployment documentation
• Work closely with site leadership and project teams to ensure a smooth rollout
