Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is hiring Desktop Technicians to support a Windows 11 upgrade and hardware refresh across healthcare locations in the Gadsden area. This is a hands-on deployment role.

You will image and configure devices, perform Windows upgrades, verify installations, and troubleshoot issues on site using SCCM and approved tools. Duration is 3-6 months with potential extensions. Schedule is Monday–Friday, standard business hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Desktop Support or IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and imaging processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Image and configure new laptops and desktops
• Perform Windows 11 upgrades and validate installations
• Deploy and replace end-user hardware
• Install and verify applications using SCCM and deployment tools
• Configure devices for user access, connectivity, and required software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Track completed work and maintain deployment documentation
• Coordinate with site leadership to ensure smooth rollout
