Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Windows 11 Deployment Technician to support an enterprise-wide migration of approximately 800 desktop and laptop devices. This role involves imaging, deploying, troubleshooting, and upgrading Windows workstations while providing hands-on end-user support throughout the migration.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a healthcare environment, upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and superior customer service to staff supporting patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades across desktop and laptop environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop support, imaging, OS deployment, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience migrating user profiles and OneDrive data.
• Troubleshooting printers, hardware, peripherals, and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades across desktop and laptop environments.
• Image, configure, and deploy devices per organizational standards.
• Migrate user profiles, OneDrive data, and settings; ensure post-deployment functionality.
• Install, configure, and validate required applications, printers, security software, and device configurations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, driver, printer, and peripheral issues during deployment.
• Verify hardware compatibility and resolve upgrade-related issues.
• Document deployment activities and maintain project records.
• Coordinate deployment schedules with IT staff and end users while upholding security/compliance.
