Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a production associate at our North Brunswick, NJ site. You will operate hand tools, lift and assemble window units, and rotate across stations, while following production reports to plan output.

The role requires standing outdoors in varying weather, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. The position offers full-time hours on the 1st shift (6:45am–3:15pm), with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing or comparable work experience.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
• Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units.
• Assemble vinyl grids for placement in insulated glass units.
• Offload insulated glass units to carts.
• Load finished window units into trucks.
• Use production reports to assist in production planning.
• Perform quality audits and participate in problem solving to resolve issues.
