Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 1st shift production associate at our North Brunswick Township, NJ site. The role involves assembling and handling window components, using hand tools, and rotating through workstations to support production lines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Move carts in and out of production work area.
• Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units.
• Assemble vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit.
• Offload insulated glass units to carts.
• Load window units into trucks for delivery.
• Use production reports to assist in production planning.
• Perform quality audits and engage in problem solving to resolve issues.
