Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States is seeking a Production Associate for the dayshift. The role involves fabrication and assembly of window components, operating hand tools, lifting units onto tables, moving carts, and using saws to cut wood to mull units, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will participate in cross-rotation and training, follow environmental guidelines, and contribute to on-time production while upholding EEO standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data and productivity reports.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operation of various hand tools to manual build window units together.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Movement of carts in and out of production work area.
• Operation of saws to cut wood necessary to mull units and punches.
• Application of hardware to units with appropriate tooling.
• Operation of stretch wrapping equipment.
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
• Ensure overall quality by performing quality audits and solving issues.
• Observe safety, health and environmental guidelines and wear PPE.
• Participate in cross-rotation with other operators and assist training.
• All other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
