Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate 2 for the 2nd shift (3:45 pm - 12:15 am) at the North Brunswick, NJ site. Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour, with full-time hours and benefits starting day 1.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lb, machine operation knowledge, and the ability to inspect products for quality. You will rotate through stations, follow safety guidelines, and participate in line downtime tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
• Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Basic understanding of machinery operation and production processes.
• Ability to measure lengths accurately to ¼
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect products for quality and damages.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
• Ability to move carts and pallets in and out of production areas.
• Ability to read and interpret common, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate ARPAC / Packing machine.
• Lift and transfer window units from conveyor into pallets or shipping carts.
• Perform quality checks on windows and identify defects or deviations from standards.
• Sort window units and palletize according to type and size; wrap if necessary.
• Ensure accurate counting during palletizing; stack and store properly.
• Move pallets/carts in and out of production areas using appropriate equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping; during line stoppages, perform downtime duties.
