Job summary

Pikes Peak Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced Window & Door Installer to join our Colorado Springs installation team. You will install and assist with residential window and door projects, read tape measures, and work safely on ladders and at various heights.

The right candidate has solid construction background, is proficient with hand and power tools, and can deliver quality workmanship while following company standards.

Qualifications

• Solid construction background required.
• Window and door installation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with caulking, trim work and aluminum brake work is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to take direction and also recognize what needs to be done next.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Install and/or assist with residential window and door installations
• Remove existing windows and doors and prepare openings
• Set, level, fasten, insulate and finish window and door installations
• Follow directions and assist as needed
• Cut and bend aluminum exterior trim using a brake
• Caulk and complete interior and exterior finish work
• Set up and safely work from ladders, including second- and third-story work
• Load and unload windows, doors, tools and materials
• Protect customers' homes and property during work
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
• Help maintain company trucks, trailers and tools
• Follow OSHA requirements and safety policies
• Communicate professionally with customers and crew
