Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Able to read basic words and numbers.
• Operate power tools with proper PPE and caution.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and use written instructions.
• Know product defects related to workstation.
• Display strong communication and listening skills.
• Manage time and respect cycle times.
• Use computer systems to access/download data.
• Stand long hours with good posture and avoid repetitive strain.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick, and pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and maintain housekeeping.
• Work safely and follow safety practices and PPE requirements.
• Work at an established rate as defined by demand and operations.
• Help define and improve standard work to improve quality.
• Identify problems and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace and professional conduct.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision.
