Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers TOP Wind Service Technician roles as an entry-level development program. You will receive accredited safety and technical training through GWO, work at wind sites near home, and join a service team performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment.

This full-time role requires a valid US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, a driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree or technical experience preferred in mechanical/wind energy
• Mechanical or electrical background helpful
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
