Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to support on-site mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems maintenance in the United States (Oregon region). You will perform routine preventive and unscheduled maintenance while documenting work orders and safety checks.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of wind turbine experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. An Associate degree is a bonus and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree is a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on wind turbines.
• Complete work orders, checklists, and safety documentation.
• Recognize wind turbine error codes and report issues promptly.
• Assist with major component replacements (generators, gearboxes) and high‑voltage maintenance.
• Adhere to safety standards and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
