Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik, headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking a Technician II to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines. You will interpret fault reports, maintain service logs, and monitor turbine performance, working independently on electrical and mechanical components while potentially leading in Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of wind turbine experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associates is a bonus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to climb turbines and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repairs.
• Interpret fault reports and maintain power generation logs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines.
• Work independently on electrical and mechanical components.
• Lead in the Lock Out Tag Out program.
