Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik AG is seeking a Technician II to support wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in the US market. You will interpret fault reports, maintain generation reports and logs, and monitor turbine performance across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

The role requires physical fitness, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to climb turbines. You will operate with limited supervision while adhering to safety standards and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to climb 300 ft towers with gear.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbines.
• Interpret fault reports and maintain power generation records and service logs.
• Monitor turbine performance and system health across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Work independently on electrical and mechanical tasks and participate in safety programs.
