Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Wind Technician I to join our field team in the US. You will lead a work crew, perform routine and unscheduled maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep turbines running.

You’ll be responsible for safety, paperwork, and coordinating with site leadership. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 2+ years of wind turbine experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree is a bonus.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
• Valid driver's license (non-CDL or CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow safety rules/instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to free climb 300 ft multiple times daily while wearing climbing gear.

Responsabilités

• Lead & perform routine preventive and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with site operations and high-voltage system maintenance.
• Generate and complete paperwork such as work orders and checklists.
• Adhere to safety standards and rescue procedures.
