RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician I for field-based operations support across wind assets in Illinois. The role involves turbine maintenance, bearing exchanges, gearboxes, safety training, and keeping tools and vehicles in readiness while providing guidance to the O&M team.

The position requires strong safety focus, ability to travel up to 50%, and the capability to climb towers and work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Wind, Solar, and BESS.
• Unrestricted driver license in good standing.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour drive of site.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine maintenance including generator bearing, pitch ram, gearbox HSS/IMS, and shaft bearing exchanges.
• Lead acceptance and performance tests on systems after planned maintenance or outages.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to support multiple sites.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and assist other sites as needed.
