Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Tiger Team Technician I to support regional wind farm operations. You will perform generator bearing exchanges, up tower gearbox repairs, pitch ram and yaw drive exchanges, troubleshooting, and safety exercises.

You will maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, provide technical guidance to the O&M team, and help uphold our performance and safety standards. Travel up to 50% and relocation within reasonable distance are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred wind/ mechanical degrees and GWO cert.
• 5+ years in wind/solar/BESS or related degree with license.

Responsibilities

• Assure safe work practices per site policies and PPE requirements.
• Climb wind towers and access turbines for maintenance tasks.
• Lead tests on systems after planned maintenance or outages.
• Travel up to 50% and support other RWE sites as needed.
• Perform turbine maintenance including bearing and gearbox tasks.
